機密情報が残るすべてのパソコンを一台ずつデータ消去するのは、お客様にとっても人手や時間がかかる作業です。そのため、S&Tでは一旦引き取った後、自社のセキュアな環境下でデータ消去を行うことをご提案しました。特に、当社でデータ消去に使用している専用のツールは国際基準に準拠したデータ消去技術を採用しており、HDDやSSD上の情報を完全に上書きして復元不可能な状態にすることができます。
これにより、お客様は情報漏洩のリスクを心配することなく、安心して機器を引き渡していただけました。データ消去作業が完了した後には、個体管理されたバーコード情報とともに一覧リストにした「作業完了報告書」を発行し、どのパソコンがどのように消去処理されたかの記録も提供しました。これにより、もし将来監査やコンプライアンスチェックがあった場合にも安心です。
課題2：リーズナブルな処分費用の実現
データ消去を含めた廃棄処理には通常高額な費用がかかりますが、S&Tは「買取」による方法を活用し、お客様の負担を軽減しました。今回は８年前の機種が多かった為、お客様も値段がつくか心配しておりましたが、高性能なサーバーやワークステーションも数台含まれていたため、引き取り費用をゼロにすることでお客様の負担を最小限に抑えました。不具合機種については、リユース可能なパーツや部品を再利用するため、通常の買取価格よりもお得な条件で引き取りが可能だったのです。

Recently, a company in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, approached us for assistance during their office relocation. They needed to dispose of 40 outdated servers and desktop PCs. The client faced two major challenges:

After completing the data erasure, we provided a detailed completion report, including individual barcoded records of each device and its data erasure status. This ensured full transparency and compliance with any future audits or regulatory checks.
Challenge 2: Achieving Cost-Effective Disposal
